Project Title: Education Needs A Chance

Project Background:
Poster for tomorrow is run by the '4tomorrow' an organisation based in Paris, France. Poster for tomorrow is  an international project to promote active citizenship through the medium of design. Poster for tomorrow want to encourage people, both those in and outside the design community, to make posters to stimulate debate in the local and international communities on issues that affect us all. I have decided to do the poster for tomorrow brief. This years topic is the right to education. As it is a poster design brief i feel that the design discipline is strictly graphics for print and that Illustration and photography could also be used as part of this brief.The context in which i want to develop this brief is through looking at previous works by designers who have worked on similar concepts/projects.

Project Description:

This is strictly a graphic design project with a poster or range of posters as the final outcome. The users associated with this project are everyone, young and old as it is an issue that effects everyone. The purpose of this project is to address the issues and present the facts relating to the issue through graphic design. I believe that good graphic design is the most effective way of communicating a particular issue.Problems that i believe needing solved through this project are any communication problems on previous posters communicating issues of a similar nature.

Project Aspirations:

My aspirations for this project are to produce a professional range of posters addressing people rights to education effectively. I also want to improve and hone my skills as a graphic designer to become better and then put this to practice.
